Rubber dam is an integral part of modern endodontics and adhesive dentistry. It provides an aseptic operating field facilitating adequate treatment. The advantages of using rubber dam are moisture control, retraction of cheek and tongue, comfort for the patient and the dentist, preventing the ingestion of endodontic tools.
In the practical training will be examined various clamps, sheets and frames, used in practice. There will be a demonstration of basic techniques for placing rubber dam, isolation of distal, frontal teeth and quadrant. The trainees will be introduced to the rules for isolation for adhesive procedures and for endodontic treatment.
The training course is entirely practically-oriented and designated for dentists.

Dr Gospodinov and Dr Venelinov will demonstrate various techniques of isolation using a model.
2:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Each trainee will be able to try and apply the techniques of placing rubber dam.
