The patient N.M. visited us asking for a complete treatment. He was examined and the plan included caries treatment, root treatment of teeth with granuloma and placing braces. Before placing braces all caries should be treated to prevent the teeth condition from worsening during the orthodontic treatment. One of the teeth included in the treatment plan, was a mandibular first molar. There was a large old seal with coloured edges (indicating the presence of crevice and leakage between the material and the tooth) and caries. After anesthesia and isolation of the operation field with rubber dam (silicone sheet), the old material and the caries were cleaned. After the assessment of the remaining tooth tissues (thin walls) it was decided to coat the entire tooth with a ceramic overlay. After partial reconstruction, the tooth was shaped appropriately for restoration (photo N..) ). The tooth was scanned with CEREC camera and was ready the same day. A few hours later, it was cemented. Thus, the patient received the necessary treatment within a day only.
